Our Fully Equipped Cairns Workshop

TCS Shipwrights & Joinery has a fully equipped workshop, located in Portsmith. We are always expanding our facilities and equipment to meet the growing needs of the Cairns Marine Industry. We have a fully enclosed blast room (more on this below), multiple spray booths and all the necessary machinery and specialist power and hand tools to get the job done. At TCS Shipwrights & Joinery we combine our highly skilled team with superior products and materials to produce results of the highest quality and durability. We have multiple teams ready to work in house, or mobilise to attend to vessels at any of the three Shipyards, HMAS Cairns and the Marina.

We Have A Fully Enclosed Blast Room

TCS Shipwrights & Joinery have a fully enclosed blast room at our Portsmith workshop to provide in-house abrasive blasting. We use quality Australian garnet for blasting and have a committed team of trade qualified blasters and painters striving for high end finish, including standards required for naval vessel contract compliance. Our focus is on delivering high specification refurbishment of removable metal components, with full QA reporting when required. Professional work, quality materials and superior results are all cornerstones of our service and something we take great pride in delivering to our clients.
